I have an old mac I'm trying to fix for a student whose condition is perfect with the exception of the USB ports working, and the fact that a friend of his stepped on the hard drive portion. I've replaced the hard drive and need to use the built-in cd drive to install an OS. Lion is the smallest OS I can find to fit on a DVD. I eventually got this resolved but only after speaking to 3 different customer service people of which only the last was worth my time.

The long and short of this is that Apple are skanking thieves who force you to jump through hoops to get what you already paid for honestly. They're doing a great job of taking over from Microsoft as the new scum of tech and after today's experience I've vowed never to give them another penny.

I should have really acted before after all the slave labour stories - wrong me twice and shame on me.

Apple - f**k you. And if you delete this then to be fair it's all anyone expected. Bunch of asshats xx
